Nzoner's Game Room>How cool is your cell phone setup and icons?
scho63 05:21 PM 04-17-2021
I've been told by all my much younger Amazon coworkers that I have the most awesome icons and cell phone setup they've ever seen.

What do you have on your cell phone?

I have an LG K92 5G.

Quick questions that are important to me.

Does it have a MicroSD slot, does it have a headphone jack, does it have decent battery life, etc. Can I configure it to my own preferences? Can I disable all the cruft and useless apps it's likely bundled with? Once I've disabled all the worthless apps I don't want (because you KNOW they won't let you uninstall them) will it still have enough storage to load apps I DO want?

Good comparison breakdown: https://www.tomsguide.com/news/onepl...ung-galaxy-s21

Recently got a S21 myself, and I love it. Been a Samsung user for quite a while though, and don't have experience with the OnePlus.

Note that Samsung is currently doing a trade-in for old Samsung phones to be used toward a new S21. As is Verizon. I actually got $800 credit for my old Galaxy S8, for upgrading. Made my decision much easier.

I have a hand-me-down Samsung Galaxy S3 from 2012 that used to belong to my mother. It still has the rose copper Kate Spade hard case on it because it works and I don't give a shit.

I have a Straight Talk iPhone that sends and receives texts and phone calls. It’s pretty awesome.

Never thought this was a thing. Hell, didn't even know you could change your icons or know why I would even want to. I'm just happy if a cell phone calls and rings. But you do you, booboo.

Damn that sucks. What I've learned is to not skimp on a phone. Most people use their phones more than anything else they own. Spend some money.

I am still rocking with a HTC One M8 I bought in 2014. Needs replacing for some apps I would like to use but they no longer work. The phone still does the phone things, texting and camera isn't too bad. I have started shopping for a replacement but at this time it isn't a urgent situation.

It works well for everything I do. Calls, texts, internet browsing occasionally, music in the car. I have been thinking about upgrading recently though.
