We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

Greene County, Springfield, Mo. Just got the 30 stay at home order. Starting March 26th.
Everyone unless you provide essential services are shopping for essential goods or are exercising.

These are stupid. About 90% of businesses fall under the "essential" umbrella it seems like. 300 people are in Menards and Walmart at once. It only hurts small business with minimal benefit to preventing spreading this disease.

no worries. In 18 days we can all sit close together, gather in large groups like mega churches.

Saw a piece on CNN as to why the LA is spiking, churches. Pastors telling worshippers that they can lay hands on them and God will cleanse them of the coronavirus.

Hopefully those states have been practicing their social distancing.

I guess it would make a good "the time I met so and so" story.

But don't ask for an autograph. That would be a social faux pas.

I have no clue what the real numbers are/were but that's the point, no one does. We probably won't even have a clue on those until a year or two from now.
I don't know how you or anyone knows that when we refuse to test our general population who are not showing symptoms. We really have no idea how many ppl have it and are asymptomatic or symptomatic.

All we know is the rates of those tested. When we know a certain portion of the infected show no symptoms at all this is something we need to be doing, at least in a small controlled environment.

New York has a comparatively large and sophisticated health care system. A lot of those red states have a dearth of not only ICU beds, but even primary care providers. They can't sustain infection levels at the rate of NY, which is already faltering and quickly running out of PPE.
