Nzoner's Game Room>Paylor: Clyde Edwards-Helaire shouldn’t worry about Le’Veon Bell
Tribal Warfare 01:21 AM 10-20-2020

The Chiefs’ win over Buffalo on Monday showed why Clyde Edwards-Helaire shouldn’t worry about Le’Veon Bell.

It also showed why the rest of the AFC should.https://t.co/k3y0kDJrFN

I don't know why this is so difficult for people to understand.

Had Damien Williams not opted out, he and CEH would be sharing carries. Williams is most certainly a more than capable back in Reid's system but given his extensive injury history, would have benefited from a 65/35 or 60/40 split of touches with CEH.

If Bell ends up earning more playing time going beyond a 60/40 split of touches, so be it.

Both guys will be better prepared and have fresher bodies for the playoff run.

We are basically getting Bell for a contract year. What isn't to like about that?
