IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

If Andy says he needs to sit year 2, I'm 100% fine with that.
The odds are far worse when a dude sits in year two.

The mental part of the game will not be a huge concern IMO. He's way ahead of a prospect like Paxton Lynch mentally coming out of college.
Wrong. They were all hand signals. This was covered by Gruden in his segment with Mahomes. He did have to read defensive alignments though.

20 years?

Aaron Rodgers sat for 3 full seasons.

You're dumb.

Exception to the rule, as has already been pointed out numerous time.

Except for the fact, Butthole, that Mahomes is a TRUE junior.

2017 would have been his Senior season and 2018 would be his actual rookie season.

I can't even imagine how sore your ass must be each day after doing so much talking.

I don't remember who posted it or in which thread, but Mahomes gave an example of a long play call from college and it was around 12-15 words.

You're wrong, so of course, you just ignore it, as usual.

Secondly, go ahead and provide list of successful NFL QB's that started following their TRUE junior season.

Thanks in advance, Claynus.

What? No, dude.

In 20 years Aaron Rodgers and Philip Rivers were the ONLY QBs who sat out 2+ seasons and went on to be successful.

If Mahomes isn't starting in 2018, NFL history says he's a failure.

The Chiefs know this, though, and Smith will be ushered out the door post haste.

History shows that you're a failure so if that happens, you'll have something in common

I would love to see the link to that, but since the Red Raiders never huddled I am not sure how he would have ever been calling plays like that. I know he made adjustments at the LOS.

Wrong. There were plays which relied upon extended verbiage.

Correct.

Why are we debating this? Who gives a fuck? The kid is not a dumb meathead, FFS.
You know who interviewed and put this kid through the paces?

Dorsey and Reid.

Good enough.

Case closed.
