:-) this is getting destroyed by critics. One of them said its hands down Tom Cruise's worst movie. I'll be passing on this and checking out It Comes At Night instead. [Reply]

Shaping my beliefs? No. I either like a movie or I don't. A review site isn't going to make me like a movie that I otherwise thought was shit. Or the opposite. RT simply aligns with my taste in movies, and that's mostly discovered by me watching the movie first. [Reply]

I saw some speculation somewhere, maybe Half in the Bag guys, that wondered the same thing. They suggested maybe that since this movie is supposed to be part of some dark universe multiple movie thing that perhaps Cruise is getting some type of Robert Downey Jr treatment and will be getting huge checks and performance percentages for all the movies he appears in, no matter how brief, since he is a big name they can attach to all of them. I actually thought it was gonna be better than the Brendan Frasier ones, not a tall order by any means, but based off the trailer it didn't look as bad as what some of the reviews have said. Hmm....guess I'll wait to see if it comes out on Netflix sometime. [Reply]
