Washington DC and The Holy Land>The Boot Is Coming Down Hard Now
BucEyedPea 10:25 AM 01-09-2021
Only the start, there's a lot more of this coming. This is just the first post of this thread. It's not just Trump, it's the American message. Thousands of conservatives already having their accounts banned even if they did not participate in the Capitol surge. Now you know why antifa thugs were sent in to that protest and broke through right at the point where airing of election irregularities would happen and being on the verge of getting a commission to investigate it. Cui Bono?
CNN is now lobbying cable providers to remove Fox News from their channel lineups. Not surprising.

Then you can begin to lower the boom on policy, because no voices are coming to protest what you might do.

This is just the beginning.

They have all the power. Why shouldn't they?

Did they say they were going to stop before pronouns are forced at gunpoint?

Did they? When?

We still have Joe Manchin who is unlikely to vote with the more extreme policies of the Woke left.
The Senate is tied now. Manchin could avoid a Harris-breaking tie vote.
The Republican gains in the House won by running on Trumpism.

What is of concern, is how they won this and in the Georgia Senate for the midterms. Usually the opposition party gets more seats.

I had to straighten a buddy out last night about this... don't go counting on him to be some bulwark against the onslaught, now that they have all the power he will be under overwhelming pressure to play ball

That's entirely possibly but he does represent a red state and will have to answer to his consituents first.

On the other hand, let's say Trump won or prevailed with true election audits and won, what do you think would happen in 4 more years?
It was always going to be there later rather than sooner. They have dominated too many institutions including the press, and they're after destroying any of that press or voices. They have corrupted bribed, blackmailed or threatened with some other kind of losses like jobs, prestige etc. to too many in those institutions.

Trump's failure was hiring the Swamp and not cleaning it out elsewhere. It came back to bite him.

Mid-terms are the last thing giving me hope.

Need to keep that tide turning.

Likewise the left will occasionally get help from Romney, Collins, et al.

My favorite Tucker moment was him getting owned so hard by Jon Stewart on his own show that they literally had to cancel the entire show.

Joe Manchin never votes against his party when his vote matters. He will when heís not the deciding vote, but I canít think of a time when he won a vote for Republicans. Letís hope he remains committed to the filibuster and refuses to stack the court, but I also hope we have a plan B.
