Washington DC and The Holy Land>****Trump Impeachment II: Electric Boogaloo****

Democrats plan to introduce articles of impeachment as early as Monday
From CNN's Lauren Fox, Manu Raju and Jamie Gangel

House Democrats are currently planning to introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump as soon as Monday, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

That could set up a vote in the House early to the middle of next week. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has not explicitly said when this will go to the floor.

This would be the second time the House has unveiled articles of impeachment against President Trump.

In December 2019, the House impeached Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The Senate acquitted him on both charges last February.

The guy has never been held accountable for anything in his life and the way he acted after the election was embarrassing. He just needs to go away and shut his mouth at this point.
All true

Do you actually believe what you just said or do you just not know that there are more Democrats than Republicans in this country?

Since 1992, 2004 is the only election in which the Republican candidate for President has won the popular vote.

The Republican party is already fighting an uphill battle and now they are going to have to deal with a good majority of their voters saying fuck you simply because the Congress didn't overturn the election and force Trump into office for another 4 years.

Yes, I know your propaganda outlets tell you that.

Did you know there are more "independent" voters than Democrat or Republican? Yes, they tend to lean one way or the other. However, they also have distaste for the Squad types who have dominated the Democrats (at least the headlines) in recent years.

Stop being a low information individual and read beyond the propaganda sites you frequent.

You also forget just how short the attention span is of these idiots. See how many Bernie Bros went and voted for the Democrat candidate after vowing never to do so unless Bernie was the Candidate. Yes, the Trumpalos and Bernie Bros are two sides of the same retarded coin.

Uh it was 8 years of obama and Hillary which created the monster known as Trump. I’m sure after ramming through socialist agendas the next two years they’ll lose the house and senate in two years and Biden should be dead or incapacitated by then. And then? This election was more about hatred of Trump rather than Biden being a good candidate.

8 years of Obama still led to more people voting for a female who was under federal investigation at the time of the election.

But she lost to the worst candidate in history, a non politician who’s a narcissist megalomaniac. If she was a good candidate it shouldn’t have even been close.

Yes. She lost while still collecting more votes. Republicans better hope the electoral college sticks around for awhile longer. Even then, Texas is inching ever so closer to turning blue and once that happens its pretty much all she wrote.

You leftards claiming Trump damaged the GOP are complete uneducated and blind jackasses. Trump crush Jeb Bush and the rest of the old guard because people like me were sick of pussies like Titt Romney and John Rino McCain.

We wanted a fighter and rule breaker and that's what we voted for and got with Trump.

He led a great 4 years even with his stupid fights he picked.

The Republicans lost because the all shit their pants and only a few joined the fight. Now the Dems are going to crush the Reps.

Repubs gained in house, lost by a cunnyhair in the senate, still rule the statehouses.

Trump lost to the weakest slate ever. Trump lost after 3 years of getting it done, he found a way to completely fuck himself by being an idiot running his mouth. If he had only shut his mouth and acted like a adult Biden would be still in his basement.

The GOP will survive Trump. But his behavior after election has been bizarre. He has that group surrounding him that are awful. Bannon? WTF? Rudy? He is not on bubble. That mouthy lawyer woman that was releasing Krakens...shes embarrassing. And the rally that led to the Capitol Riot, that will be all time stupid.

I voted for him 2 times. But there is no way to deny, Trump is his own worst enemy. Best to get serious distance from him.

Lol! I couldn’t agree more!

If he said absolutely nothing he probably would have won. He just couldn’t shut up. The media pushed his button and he reacted like a juvenile puppet instead of an adult and leader of the free world. He needs to disappear quickly. Although it would be cool if Congress kept obsessing over him the next two years.

Agreed. The problem with Trump is ironically also one of his strengths...the fact that he DOES NOT CHANGE...he doesn't make apologies, and he's bombastic and rude...and I do think the country needed some of that in 2016, and that's probably the biggest reason for his election. He had an incredible run for 3 years, but could not, would not, adjust in 2020 in the face of a pandemic, the rioting and the aftermath of his impeachment. He just kept being him, and probably thought it was the right thing to do.

It was not.

The media he hates so much and hates him back had the high ground suddenly. They can say and show what they want, all of it designed to destroy Trump, and he was too stubborn or pig headed to recognize the extraordinary new situation...and his inability to pivot or hell even recognize any need to change his tack...well, it resulted in losing an election to a guy who literally cannot put a sentence together and who didn't campaign really at all. Trump kept looking at the YUGE support he was getting and didn't see the creep from the left. Ego and hubris ultimately was his downfall. I don't know where we go from here...but I'm pretty ready to go from here...

EDIT- No, I don't think impeachment is warranted or healthy for the nation. 12 days to go, and he is neutered. It's pointless and petty on behalf of some extremely unlikable politicians, who actually probably are as dumb as Trump when it comes to taking the temperature of a nation. You won...take your victory and go. Pettiness is what got Trump in trouble...they seem to forget that.

This is true of all people. The things we like about them and things we hate about them are the same.

It was his lack of filter and bombast that made you love him in the first place. He was always fighting for himself he’s just an outstanding con man, and he fooled you.

After the election. He continued to not care about the country or anyone else and fight for himself. Up to including throwing his VP under the bus because he refused to steal the election for him, then inciting a violent attack on the counting of the electoral votes.

Remember when he refused to commit to a peaceful transfer of power and all the trumpers said it was nothing?

When he told the proud boys to stand back and stand by? Everyone freaked out and you all said it was nothing.

It wasn’t nothing. And now 5 people are dead including a cop.

Ahhh. The popular Texas is turning blue narrative.

I guess if Kalifornians keep invading it is possible, but I think secession is more likely.

You SERIOUSLY don't recall 'READ MY LIPS, NO NEW TAXES'

Perhaps the sine qua non of broken promises actually sinking a candidate?

I mean, I wasn't all that mad about it. Back then, I recognized 'compromise' as a virtue. But plenty were, and they turned out prophetic.
