On our current trajectory, the report warns, “planetary and human systems [are] reaching a ‘point of no return’ by mid-century, in which the prospect of a largely uninhabitable Earth leads to the breakdown of nations and the international order.”

Bullshit. AOC already told us the world ends in 12 years.

He's wrong. According to my calculations it ends in 2052. Somewhere between late June and early July. I'll keep working on it until I come up with a specific date. But you can definitely rule out buying chief season tickets that year.

Actually we all died in the 80's from acid rain, and this is just our spirits living because we don't know any better.

We've all been M. Night Shayamalan'd.

Scheduling conflicts, I'm sure. Can't have the world ending before some big gay pride rally or the DNC national convention or something like that :-)

Also, it isn't too late is it? We can still save the Earth by sending all our money to Paris, right? Somebody give me some hope here :-)

If every American would hop on a private jet and fly to climate change conferences in order to express our concern for the planet, and then fly back home on that private jet afterwards, the way celebrities and politicians do, that would probably help.
