Did Ezekiel remind anyone else of the field's medal MIT professor from 'Good Will Hunting' up until he and Carol had the heart to heart?

Ya, kindve think it was rushed and very poor writing. Made no sense how all the sudden she felt like that.

Meh. While I'm tired of this Carol (much like I was getting tired of Morgan before he finally shot that dude last season), I kind of get how she could have such a dramatic turnaround. She's been growing into an utter badass since her abusive hubby died, then went over the top and got kicked out of the prison, then earned her way back by saving everyone... then she gets a taste of happy homemaker again in Alexandria and has time to reflect on the kinda bad person she's become. I think it's about downtime. When she had to just survive, there wasn't time to think about your actions. In Alexandria, she's had time to reflect, and she doesn't like the person she's become.

Just my 2 cents.

That makes me feel better about the quick transition. Thanks

Apparently she died a long time ago, like season 1ish, according to the people that live in my house and read this stuff.

Interesting...seems like she took over for Andrea who I think lasted longer in the comics and was a badass ...def not in the show

Yeah, the comic is a hell of a lot more crazy and violent than the show ever would or could be.

I enjoyed the episode. After the first one, I think I needed an episode without tons of blood and guts - this one fit just right. Like someone said below me, took the realism of the first episode out of my mind and reminded me that it's a show based on a comic book.

We 2 trick or treaters at the door dressed like Negan with a whiffleball bat with 'barbwire'.
one was like 12 and the other was 8-ish.

Way too young to be watching that show IMO.

12 might be right on the cusp depending on the kid and their ability to discern fact from fiction. I loved horror movies, shows, and books when I was in the 11-12 range. 8 is pushing it. I have one that will be 8 in March and not only would I not let him watch, he would be horrified of the threat of having to watch.
