Nzoner's Game Room>2019 Free agency Thread
O.city 03:24 PM 02-05-2019
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

I’d say Indy, Cleveland, and LAR would all make offers for Houston potentially.

His attitude doesn't fit.

His future production is NEVER going to be anywhere what he's paid imo.
One point I take issue with is this "attitude" stuff. What exactly did he do wrong? The guy was clearly being underpaid for his production, and in 2017 he told the organisation that he didn't want to get tagged again and wanted a fare deal. The Steelers ignored him and so he did what was best for him this season by not playing. Hell, midway through last season he apparently spoke to the Steelers and said he would come back "if they promise they wouldn't tag him again" and they refused. So I don't blame Bell at all tbh. When teams ship out players on a whim nobody has an issue. When a player stands up for himself "he has attitude", I just don't agree with that notion.

He was a pioli pick, and played for Georgia. Maybe he winds up in Atlanta.

They don’t seem to have a huge need at the position but perhaps so.

The fact that Houston is almost a lock to be traded or cut makes me think Berry has a greater chance to also see the door. Those two are essentially tied at the hip.

Here you go friends!

Not going to read it for you, but the article states the Chiefs did not have an intention of extending Thomas once acquired.....

We won't gain much at all by cutting Berry this year. Next year is a different story.

Holy hell...

Landon Collins unlikely to be tagged, Giants are not adverse to OBJ trade, AB available for trade and Leveon a FA, Goldan Tate trying to make his way to the Champs, Chiefs shopping Houston, Eagles shopping Nelson Agholor, and Jets looking to move down from #3....

I love this time of year!

I don't care much for Waynes.

Trade for Waynes. Sign Dennard in FA. Get that MSU band back together....
Profit.

$9.5M in a post June 1st cut is significant.

Don’t get the sense that Minnesota or Arizona is interested in getting rid of Rhodes or Peterson.

It’d probably take a crazy offer, which I don’t want to give.

Hotlanta needs a double spirit combo.
