Nzoner's Game Room>Would you trade for Leveon Bell?
-King- 11:37 AM 10-13-2020

The #Jets are, in fact, trying to trade RB Le'Veon Bell, as @MMehtaNYDN reported. He has roughly $6M guaranteed remaining in salary this year. Trade deadline is three weeks from today.

Would be a great rental piece depending on what the Jets are asking for.

Depends on what kind of draft compensation the Jets are going to throw in.

They're going to have to pay someone to dump him.

This thought just hit me today. If he doesn’t have to be a starter and the price and money is right I’d consider it.

Not unless Bell has recently gained 100 pounds and successfully converted to guard.

If they'd take a 6th and cover half his salary...sure.

6M for 1 year is too high? We don't have to keep him past this year. And we don't have any good RBs to spell Helaire.

Bell style running would perfectly match up to wait and wait and slam into a defender for a 3 yard loss with this OL

Yes. Id part with a 5th and Jets to pick up some of his salary.

If it is for a low round draft pick I definitely would.

If im giving up a 6th then i better get Bell and a 4th in return at least.

This is a salary dump move on an aging RB that hasn't done dick in 3 years.

I'm not eating his salary for no reason.

Earlier this year, my answer would have been a hard "NO".

But since Damien Williams opted out, the Chiefs lack of quality depth at the running back position has been glaringly obvious, so much so that a trade for Bell would most likely be in the Chiefs best interest to make a deal.

The Chiefs will have at least two, if not three, Comp Picks in 2021 so giving up a pick for Bell wouldn't be as painful had they not had their full compliment of picks and several Comp Picks.

Depending on price, yes I would.

Yep. CEH + Bell would be a nice 1-2
