Not sure if I liked the ending. If all he had to do was run back in time to fix everything and get his mom back why didn't he just do that in the first place?
It was still a thriller but maybe I think could have been done different and better?
Think i'm on the disappoint level for the final of season 2.

SoI finally watched the last episode and I'm confused. The Barry who saved his mother looked up at the Barry who was looking through the door (I assume is the Barry who went back the first time and didn't save her) but this time he saved her so that Barry vanished... so why wouldn't the Barry who just saved his mom vanish as well? If saving his mother changes the entire future, including Barry being hit by the particle accelerator wave and becoming the Flash, wouldn't he vanish as well and not even know what he did? [Reply]

The most recent "The Flash" Season 3 spoilers have suggested that the upcoming third installment will be following the "Flashpoint Paradox" storyline. With this, fans have started speculating that major changes could be expected in the upcoming "The Flash" Season 3.
True enough, it seems highly possible as Barry Allen would be losing his powers should "The Flash" Season 3 follows the "Flashpoint Paradox" plot. Written by Geoff Johns and released in 2011, the "Flashpoint" comics follows the story of a powerless Barry who was trapped in the midst of the clashing Aquaman and Wonder Woman.
Though he does not have power at that time, Barry Allen tried everything he can do to stop the chaos going on between the squads of Aquaman and Wonder Woman as he tries to save his own mother. Luckily, he found a very effective way to let peace fall into place once again, which has given way to "The New 52" comics.
In other words, Barry Allen has created a new timeline when he saved his mother, erasing all the events that occurred in "The Flash" Season 1 and Season 2. Also, it has been reported that Barry Allen will be battling out with Zoom (Teddy Sears) in "The Flash" Season 3 to determine who is faster between them.

This kind of bullshit is what drives me crazy about DC. I know that Marvel does stuff along the same lines... but it just seems rampant in DC storylines. [Reply]
So why wouldn't the dementors be pissed off at Barry Allen for changing the time flux ? Isn't that what they were after him before and why they went after Zoom?
I did like the part of the Dementor taking Zoom that was BAD ASSley done. [Reply]
