The key to long term success is drafting well and trading those who are gonna want big $$$$ before we have to.
That's literally the Patriot way. Problem is they kept investing in a qb and trading them off. Jimmy should've never went to San Fran. If he'd stayed in New England they'd at least been competitive this season. [Reply]
I don't think it's appropriate to discuss roster changes the week before the AFC championship game. We love all of our current players and hope they'll stay forever. [Reply]
I know this is just talk but in what universe is Reiter worth 11.4 per yr? That's almost the highest in the league. For the purposes of this poll, I'd be all over signing Linsley.
The real answer might be grabbing C in the draft. Trey Hill from GA immediately comes to mind. Rashawn Slater if he drops would be a great fit too. [Reply]

I was shocked by that number.
I’m not even sure I’d re-sign Reiter for half that much. [Reply]

Can’t see the draft being that OL heavy.
DE, WR, and C are the highest priority positions. DE and WR offer the most value early.
I think they take the best available player at 32 - which is going to be a DE or WR, IMO, unless Schwartz is done and they take a T. Center/IOL has a sweet spot in round 2. And then BPA from there. [Reply]
