I think you may have missed the point of that post.

Lakers' LeBron James is the first NBA player to score 40,000 points.
James scored his first 10,000 points in the exact same number of games as it took him to go from 30,000 to 40,000
- 10K in 368 games
- 10K to 20K in 358 games
- 20K to 30K in 381 games

Warriors down by 40 and it isn't even half time. You love to see it.

"What is Jordan's peak? 1 yr? Then LeBron's peak was higher. 2 yrs? It's a debate. 3 yrs? That goes to Jordan. 4 yrs? It tilts back to LeBron. 5 yrs? Find me a better 5-yr peak than LeBron from 2012-16."

@getnickwright tries to have the most honest LeBron-MJ GOAT debate ever: pic.twitter.com/UMY0BRoxhd

The insecurity couldn't be more transparent :-)

No matter what you, Nick Wright, or Barry do, the debate has been over for a long time. Deal with it.

Agreed, it ended after the 2016 Finals (otherwise known as the greatest single accomplishment by any player in NBA history).

Ohh that's right. Conveniently for Lebron Stans, the only championship in the history of team sports wasn't a team accomplishment.

:-) when the most vocal champions of your cause are glorified shit posters, yeah, kind of makes it obvious.

KCC: championships are a team accomplishment and irrelevant

Also KCC: Lebron became the GOAT when he singlehandedly beat the Warriors in 2016!

I think the most genuinely hilarious thing about all of this isn't the rampant insecurity LeBron stans propagate on a daily basis, it's the insecurity of LeBron himself. That stat about him and AD playing the most and second most minutes during the in season tournament portion across the WHOLE LEAGUE is never not funny

Should I post his game 5 through 7 stat lines again? I can.

One player won that series against a vastly superior team through sheer force of will. The greatest single accomplishment in NBA history.

Of course, it also helps that he continued on in unprecedented historic fashion 8 years after that until he was 40 as one of the top players in the game too.

Peak and longevity, the perfect combination.
