wtf is Carrol doing anyway? Why would she want to leave? She has to know that she'd be putting her people.. at least Daryl.. in harm's way by coming after her. What could she really expect to find out there anyway?

In the closing scene of the season finale Negan will arrive with Lucile. Rick, Maggie, and Glenn (Daryl and Michone are not part of the group and their fates will be unknown at the end of this season)will all be tied up with Negan making a speech about how Alexandria will give the Saviors half of what they have and someone will die. Negan starts with "Enie, Meanie, Miny, Moe with each one of our hero's faces appearing with each word.
When Negan makes his choice we switch to the victim's perspective, the victim is then beaten and we hear screams and the scene fades to black as Negan's victim dies.
We do not find out who was killed. We get to wait until the start of season 7.

I read the same thing a few days ago, only there were more possible victims (the thing I read said Daryl and Michonne are there, as well as Abraham, Eugene, and Aaron).
Honestly I'm glad I saw the spoiler, because I would have been even more pissed off if I didn't see this bullshit coming.

I think you're correct on that. I was trying to pull the details from memory and I know I left some details out.
