Washington DC and The Holy Land>Trump's loose lips - CIA was forced to exfiltrate a top russian asset in 2017

Having spies placed in Russia doesn't seem important at all

The disclosure to the Russians by the President, though not about the Russian spy specifically, prompted intelligence officials to renew earlier discussions about the potential risk of exposure, according to the source directly involved in the matter.

Great - so in this case, you trust the CIA.

- Yet another chapter of "Fake News" by CNN:

CIA slams CNN's 'misguided' and 'simply false' reporting on alleged CIA spy's extraction from Kremlin

> "The Central Intelligence Agency on Monday evening slammed what it called CNN's "misguided" and "simply false" reporting, after the cable channel's chief national security correspondent authored a hole-filled piece claiming that the CIA had pulled a high-level spy out of Russia because President Trump had "repeatedly mishandled classified intelligence and could contribute to exposing the covert source as a spy."

The extraordinary CIA rebuke came as The New York Times published a bombshell piece late in the evening, which largely contradicted CNN's reporting. According to the Times, CIA officials "made the arduous decision in late 2016 to offer to extract the source from Russia" — weeks before Trump even took office."

Why do you spend so much time spreading, and propagating, fake news?

Here's the actual quote, comrade:

A person directly involved in the discussions said that the removal of the Russian was driven, in part, by concerns that President Donald Trump and his administration repeatedly mishandled classified intelligence and could contribute to exposing the covert source as a spy.

Would you care to identify what part of the actual quote doesn't quite match up with what Fox News stated?

ShitThePants,

You need to start a repository thread like I did with illegal alien crime so as to prevent the pollution you cause.

No - we will just watch together as another chapter of "CNN Fake News" unfolds - as you continue to spin:

> CNN’s Jim Sciutto under fire for ‘simply false’ anti-Trump report condemned by CIA

- CNN’s Jim Sciutto is under fire after the Central Intelligence Agency condemned his report Monday on an alleged spy’s extraction from Russia as "misguided" and "simply false" — but the news network seems to be shrugging off criticism of its "scoop" from everyone from the CIA itself to The New York Times.

Sciutto, a former Obama administration official who is now the liberal network’s chief national correspondent, claimed on Monday that the CIA had pulled a high-level spy out of Russia because President Trump had "repeatedly mishandled classified intelligence and could contribute to exposing the covert source as a spy."

CIA Director for Public Affairs Brittany Bramell blasted CNN’s report.

"CNN's narrative that the Central Intelligence Agency makes life-or-death decisions based on anything other than objective analysis and sound collection is simply false,” Bramell said in a statement.

CNN did not immediately respond when asked for an official statement regarding whether or not it stands by Sciutto’s report. Sciutto appeared on “CNN Newsroom” Tuesday in his usual anchor chair alongside Poppy Harlow, who called his report “stunning” and the story remained prominently placed on CNN’s website despite the CIA statement. Sciutto also appeared Tuesday morning on CNN's "New Day" to defend his reporting while downplaying the news that the CIA wanted to extract the source before Trump took office.

"You know CNN has gone off the rails when the CIA feels compelled to issue a statement rebuking its reporting," Cornell Law School professor and media critic William A. Jacobson told Fox News.

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham told Fox News that CNN’s report “is not only incorrect” but also “has the potential to put lives in danger.”

When I’m worried about being given a polonium latte because I betrayed Putin I usually purchase homes in the capitol of the country I defected to and do it under my own name. Totally makes sense https://t.co/YDKBVx3A17
