Washington DC and The Holy Land>Michael Avenatti is a Superstar
Lex Luthor 12:16 AM 05-20-2018
Michael Avenatti is Donald Trump's second-worst nightmare.

The honor of being Donald Trump's worst nightmare obviously goes to Robert Mueller, as Mueller is slowly but surely tightening the noose on the Russian Colluder in Chief. But Mueller is running a tight ship. No leaks are coming from Mueller's team, and Mueller himself is very tight-lipped about what he has found.

This is where Michael Avenatti joins the party. He goes on all of the talk shows and exposes Trump and his lackey Giuliani as the fools that they are.

It is unlikely that Avenatti has any information that Mueller does not. But Avenatti is doing something that Mueller cannot. He is fighting (and clearly winning) the battle of public opinion. He is beating trump at his own game: A media barrage where he is always at the center.

When feeble old Giuliani declared that Avenatti is an "ambulance chaser", Avenatti responded with this hilarious and epic takedown:

Rudy Giuliani - the only “ambulance” I have ever chased in my career is the one you are driving right now in a desperate attempt to save this presidency. Any time you would like to compare our legal careers and cases over the last 15 yrs, I would be happy to. #sirens #basta

Another awesome tweet from Michael Avenatti, Superstar:

This is getting too easy. What an absolute train wreck this guy is. EVERY time!!! #Embarrassment #TimeForPasture #DazedConfused #Basta

Unfair!’ Rudy Giuliani explodes when CNN’s Cuomo plays clip of him saying presidents must obey subpoenas https://t.co/AszT6ZZx9D via rawstory

Avenatti's performance again leaves a lot to be desired. Today he posts a declaration of what allegedly happened to his client.

That declaration does not allege any mis-conduct by Kavanaugh toward his client. Rather, it shows that his client sat by and watched as groups of young women were gang-raped. His client told none of the other females at this party. His client attended numerous parties despite knowing what would happen. At a minimum, according to her statement, she sat by and watched this go one for some time and nothing to stop it.

I could understand if she said, 'Hey, I wound up at a party. I saw people drinking too much. There were a bunch of guys who were taking advantage of incapacitated young women. I got out of there as quickly as I could because there were a bunch of them and only one of me.' I might question why she didn't say anything but I could understand that if she were young enough (see below). But according to her own statement, she went back multiple times when she knew what was going on.

Let's ignore many of the logical/procedural issues this declaration presents.* If true, this makes his client look like a monster. This does real harm to his client. I get that Avenatti does not like Kavanaugh because he's a conservative judge and he wants to stop the nomination. But reading that declaration shows that this is all about Avenatti, not about the client. This declaration was a total abdication of his duty to his client. Rather, he sacrificed his client on the altar of his own desire for fame.

* This is supposedly signed under penalty of perjury, but a typical declaration includes a location and notarization, but that isn't present. She says she knows of others but does not name them. She graduated from college in 1980 (according to other records) but she's attending parties with high school boys. She "hears" this went on elsewhere but does nothing other than give rank hearsay to support that statement. Her statement is contradicted by numerous people. The New York Times noted that it could not find a single person who would verify this. Despite going to numerous parties, no one, and I mean no one, ever contacted the police or said, "Hey, you know, a friend of mine had a train run on her at a party the other night and I'm totally not down with that." Those are just my thoughts on reading the declaration initially.

You haven’t been paying attention. Your dad is the man who had unprotected sex with my “porn star” client when your brother was 4 mos. old and your step mom was at home. How many other “porn stars” has he slept with? You should leave this to the adults and go back to playing.

Like it or not, Trump is the most powerful man in the world at the moment. Avenatti is still the creepy porn lawyer.

I've called it a tantrum. It's been an extended tantrum. But now it's an unleashing of the Id.

The left is indulging each and every base, craven and evil impulse they've ever had, with the defense 'oh yeah? Whatyagonnasay? Trump's a doodoohead.'

And they'll blame 'Trump's example' for their own bad behavior.

Babble lee just gave us an excellent example of a tantrum.

Conservatives want to try to use porn star lawyer as insult, but throw a tantrum whenever they get reminded he is representing a porn star because the president likes to screw them behind his wife's back and then try to pay her off.
