We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

They should be at around $8M, yes. That’ll be $22M once Houston is gone, and could grow to around $37M if Ford also is traded. Then you have other role players such as Sorensen, Murray, Ragland, etc who could provide more cap relief.
They’ve got options to make plenty of space, I’m just not sure where they’ll draw the line on some of these players. If a team like the Jets who has money to blow will be willing to throw something like $13-15M per year at Barr, I don’t think that’s a price we should be looking to match at all. [Reply]

Not a fan of Barr. For what will be an enormous price tag, this guy just doesn’t show up enough. A big knock on Barr coming from Minnesota fans is his tendency to freelance and play out of position too often, and the highly drafted player that showed so much promise his first couple years has played inconsistently the last couple campaigns. Veach better learn from last year and not get “crushes” on guys so he overpays and kills the cap like Dorsey did. [Reply]

Yep. The league year actually starts at 4pm on Wednesday, I believe. [Reply]
