Been having dull chest pains right and left daily for a couple weeks. Today at school decided I needed an ekg. School nurse said go to the ER now. Called a local ER option in town they said go to the ER so reluctantly I went to the ER. Lots of poking and tests all of which came out positive and they sent me home. I was there an hour and the bill was 4000.00 my share was 440.00. I will admit the govt finally did something right and they have to show you the exact bill before you go home and they are tied to it.
I guess knowing my heart is ok is worth 440.00 after worrying about it for two weeks is worth it. [Reply]
I had a scary time that made me go to the er a few years ago. I was having chest pains and after getting on the internet (do not do this) all the symptoms started. Woke my wife up at some early morning hour and told her to take me to the er. Turned out I had arthritis in my sternum or what is called the breast bone between the rib cages. Now I don't know if it is the arthritis or a heart attack. Lucky me. [Reply]

The scary thing about heart issues, or any serious health issue for that matter, is that if you've never experienced it, it's hard to figure out that it's a serious health issue. False alarms are kind of useful, but even then it just muddies up the water about what's real and what's not. [Reply]
I went yesterday because ive been having this crazy pain in my stomach for a while now. Turns out I have to get my gallbladder removed. Everything else is perfectly fine including the heart though. Never ignore pains [Reply]
