I've never played on a 32" but I imagine it's probably really freaking nice.

I for sure wouldn't go below 27", though.

When I said 27" was the sweet spot, I meant in terms of bang for the buck.

Since you spoil the ever living shit outta your kids, I'm sure Vailpass Jr. is getting a 32" ultrawide. :-)

EDIT: I meant that last part as a huge positive, obviously. Sometimes tone is easy to misconstrue on the webz.

Dude, there's nothing to be unhappy about. Using wifi on a desktop, shame on you. :-)

Hah, true. It will be wired, but it just doesn’t seem right for any computer to not have wi-fi capability. Plus he’ll need the Bluetooth for headphones, etc.

Only thing I'm not happy about is the mobo selection. It was limited so I have to add in my own wifi/bluetooth adapter. Good side of that, I can make it wifi 6. Also, they were out of stock on Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB M.2 so I had to order from Best Buy but no biggie. Now, what monitors are good right now? Don't know that it needs to be 4k.

We’ll see how the NZXT BLD service does. They warranty their work for two years although once the thing is built and posts it’s pretty much on the components after that.

I’m going to miss sitting down and building it. On the other hand, I’m not missing looking all over for components and choosing between hundreds of options this year.

How much would you want to spend on a monitor?

I paid $400 for a 1440p 144hz 27" monitor with gsync and I love it

I’m thinking $400-$500. What monitor do you have, if you don’t mind my asking?

For me personally a 32 inch is too big, 27 is the sweet spot

I wouldn’t have thought that until Pants mentioned that 27” is the sweet spot.

What kind of delivery dates do they guarantee?

Asking because it is so hard to find the new 3000 series Nvidia cards.

That’s one of the reasons I ordered today, to be sure and get one in time. They say it will ship by 11/12 (see email below).
