I'm totally fine with that. If you need a left tackle get him in the first, but otherwise the 3rd/4th is the sweet spot. Until Niang we seem to have mostly waited until the 6th or close to it, with mixed results.

Drafting OL in the first round is drafting Mahomes an extra two seconds to find an open receiver. That's worth its weight in gold, even for a fatty.

We just need to keep stacking elite players around Mahomes. Offense and Defense. Look at all the great players Pittsburgh and Baltimore have drafted late in the 1st and 2nd.
