Dunno if anyone posted this but i'd imagine his character played a big part in it.

He plays gritty and is pretty intense on the field. I like that for sure. I wonder if some of it has to do with his size. I imagine he's been doubted everywhere he's been.

Most everything I have read from outside the Chiefs organization has praised the signing.

Whether Berry stays or goes seems to be a 50/50 depending on what you read.

I have to say I am excited.

I remember watching him play at LSU and he was a monster back then--he even got some Heisman hype. Hope he can replicate that here.

So I wanted to take sometime to think about this before posting.

But Tyrann Mathieu is a perfect fit in Spaq's Defense. The reason is that he likes to Blitz with DB's and Mathieu is really gifted at that.

Should Berry be able to play our Saftey Position will be above average. I'm still worried about pass rush/CB spot. However he is a perfect Robber in this scheme.

So Nate taylor had an article in the Athletic about Mathieu and him playing next to Berry.

So i'm guessing they plan on keeping Berry.
