I don't think this needs to go to DC because it's an apolitical question, more about how much you trust Big Pharma.

On a serious note, an RFID chip or some other mechanism introduces at the time of vaccination is a 1st-party solution. It's very simple - you give them consent and in return, they provide you with proof of vaccination. It's between you and your doctor.

At issue with utilizing a "smart pass" is that you're now introducing 2nd parties - a clearing house or other processor that takes information from the doctor and passes it on to a 3rd party, such as an app manufacturer. You also then have the platform on which the data is stored, which means Samsung, Google, Apple, etc. are all involved.

The security and privacy implications aren't trivial, for private citizens, for the companies involved, or for the government bodies making the regulations. It's not going to happen quickly.

When you go to DaFace's house, you still aren't going to be able to open the more expensive container of dip, though.

Good point. I guess I'll have to stick with the cat food. I wonder if I can get into the more expensive cat food container.

Government won’t force you to take vaccine. Amazon will. Airlines will. Banks will. You won’t be able to buy, sell, or trade without the vaccine.

Take a vaccine with a 95% success rate on a virus that you have a 99.7% chance of survival?

I'll take my chances on my immune system doing it's job.

Since I have Covid, do I need to worry about a vaccine? Surely my body will developed a bit of an immunity?

The bad 5 percent of the vaccine doesn't kill you. It's just a free chance with 95 percent odds to avoid the 0.3 chance that the virus will.
