Media Center>Wonder Woman 1984 trailer
Deberg_1990 02:14 PM 11-19-2020
Looks like it will be opening in the local theaters in my area around here. Theaters in Texas have been back open for months.

But if I’m being honest, why would I go pay to see it in a movie theater when it will just pop up for free on HBOMax?

Man. I had high hopes for a Gal Gadot Wonder Woman franchise but I have to say I am not liking the comparison to...Trolls World Tour? Holy fuck. Yikes.

Seeing several tweets this morning that are positive. Review embargo has dropped....sounds like a good sign

@JimVejvoda: I saw #WonderWoman1984 yesterday. It was a lot of fun and has a very heartwarming and hopeful message that, frankly, we really need this year. https://twitter.com/JimVejvoda/statu...610243/photo/1

@BrandonDavisBD: I've seen #WonderWoman1984!

@PattyJenks literally made an 80s movie in every way, making it so unique for today. It feels both bigger than the first WW while simultaneously more contained.

Lots of Diana Prince and some epic Wonder Woman moments as @GalGadot literally soars! https://twitter.com/BrandonDavisBD/s...295362/photo/1

@ErikDavis: I’m so happy to report that #WW84 is an absolute blast from start to finish. An exceptional compliment to the first film, it’s stuffed w/ heart, hope, love, action, romance & humor. @PattyJenks, @GalGadot & team delivered one of DC's best sequels. I was in tears when it ended. https://twitter.com/ErikDavis/status...799107/photo/1

@GermainLussier: Yesterday I saw Wonder Woman 1984 at home & it was everything I needed & more. The movie is hugely ambitious, incredibly exciting, and full of much needed hope. It's also very long, to a fault at times, but mostly it reminded me how wonderful a big blockbuster can make you feel. https://twitter.com/GermainLussier/s...986560/photo/1

This lines up with the on set report that I gave on December 9, 2019:

Apparently, she hired a bunch of friends instead of true professionals on set and that it was a disaster of epic proportions. There was constant infighting and power struggles and again, from what I was told, the story doesn't work nearly as well as the original. Now, hopefully, they put together a good film in the edit bay, which happens more frequently than not but after all of the detail that was share with me, I'm not expecting much.

Let's hope I'm wrong because Wonder Woman has pretty much been DC's lone saving grace as of late (the Joker not included).

You knew this was just a propaganda programming piece...junk cinema for the undiscerning and drone culture bots.

Their is a certain brilliance in convincing unrealized people that they are somehow "woke" and self-actualized.

They are saying that theaters will start playing playing it Friday morning but HBO wont drop it until Noon Eastern time.

So no middle of the night drop....
