Nzoner's Game Room>2019 Free agency Thread
O.city 03:24 PM 02-05-2019
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

Why isn't he worth it anymore? Last year it would have cost a draft pick and a new contract. Now it's just a contract.

He had a broken leg. I'd think he would come back from that fine.

He broke his leg in almost exactly the same place as before. Twice in 3 years.

It will break again, just like Dee Ford.

Broken bones are a little different than Ford's issues. After having surgery this time IIRC, I would doubt he has problems with it again.

I'm not taking that chance. We already have Houston and Berry. Don't need anymore albatrosses.

Because I view it like a bet. I don't spend big money on long shots.

Yeah Earl is gonna ask for big money. This is the last time he’s ever going to be able to cash out.

Veach said that they were not looking at giving Thomas a new contract.

Link?

Maybe he was looking at sending a 5th then getting a comp pick back the following year.

When? I find it hard to believe Veach talked like that about a player under contract.

I'm not sure Veach ever said anything at all. It was all rumor and 2nd-hand stuff.

I think he's talking about D"anthony Thomas. Not Earl Thomas.

Maybe ?

I think that's maybe what happened. We were talking about Earl Thomas, for sure. I think Roundup might have been talking about DAT.
