Fuck yeah. It never gets old. It's my favorite way to fall asleep at night.

You know what also lightens my day?

49er Bumper stickers.

:-) :-) :-)

God do i love those.

It just occurred to me what was missing in all this. Vengeance. Hate. Retribution.

I don't hate Houston, Tennessee or San Francisco. They were just the opposing teams. Obstacles to be overcome.

I want to play the teams that have used us as a stepping stool to ultimate success. New England. Pittsburgh. Indianapolis. Denver. Especially Denver. Sure, we own their asses now, but I want to do to those pricks what they did to us in '98. Crush their fucking souls in the playoffs.

Imagine Mahomes hoisting the Lamar Hunt trophy in the middle of Mile High or whatever the hell they call that pile of shit stadium now. And legions of Donx fans cursing the day for decades. That would complete me.

Of course that would require Denver to actually win the division and get a top seed. Don't see that happening anytime soon. :-)

There’s more than 1 mic’d up!

Oh, dude.

The 9-7 Broncos coming into Arrowhead after Drew Lock leads them in an upset in an underwhelming 23-17 game against Buffalo. Drew does just good enough that he has Denver fans believing in a snowy Arrowhead.

That’s where the Chiefs win 44-0 (they pulled their starters at 35-0). After the game, Bronco fans are united in calling for Elway’s firing.

This would be just as acceptable for me.

I could live with that. :-)

For the most part I was calm during the Super Bowl. Even when we were down. It was weird. I actually posted about how weird it was in the game thread. I just... really believed we'd win. Then we did.
Same here. I just knew we were going to win. Un-explainable.

Nah. I’m good man. Them being a perpetual doormat is good enough for me. Hopefully for the rest of my life (at least as long as I continue to care about football).

It’s far far more satisfying when we go into that thin air, they’re all amped, yelling in-com-plate or whatever gay chant they have going at the time, when everybody knows it doesn’t matter. I do wish they’d still show that barrel fuckbag. Seeing anguish on his face knowing they have no chance would make it a touch more satisfying.

But whatever. It’s satisfying enough when their crowd gets into it hoping they can will their team that is far from good enough to work the edges and catch some breaks to hopefully do enough weird stuff they win a game they shouldn’t. That’s far more satisfying than them actually being a contender.

I skipped the game but watched the post-victory coaches and player celebration last night.

20 years of waiting for a drink will create quiet a thirst.

My sister and I send video links to each other that we find every other day or so. I even listened to a fourth quarter recap of the 49ers radio broadcast that a couple of Seahawks podcast guys were mocking. They played a little bit of Mitch at the end. "Do you want to hear what unbridled joy sounds like?" Yes, yes I do.
