I convinced myself a couple of weeks ago that he'd be back by the end of the conference season and get a few games in before the SEC tournament. I just never understood that timeline for a simple disc issue.
It's going to be a problem for him going forward but that's the case no matter what. It will be back to its new normal well before the stated timeline. Unless he simply doesn't want to risk re-injury and establish it as chronic prior to the NBA draft, I simply don't see how he wouldn't be physically sound to the point of attempting a return by the end of February.
If the troops can just keep their heads above water. Get his team to 18-19 wins and win another game or 2 in the SEC tournament. They'll get in with Porter returning. [Reply]
