RodeoPants2 01:30 PM 05-21-2020
trump was busy licking his dick and whining about how unfair it all was, and pretending this was just the flu.

If only he'd taken more decisive action.

“This is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States should be worried about right now,” Fauci said during an interview with Newsmax’s Greg Kelly.

February 26, 2020: Fauci said, “Travel restrictions become almost irrelevant because you can’t keep out the entire world.”

“When you have a pandemic that involves multiple countries, travel restrictions become almost irrelevant because you can’t keep out the entire world,” Fauci said during an interview with CNBC News.

February 29, 2020: Fauci claimed there was no need for Americans to “change anything what you’re doing on a day-by-day basis” during an interview with the Today Show.

“Right now, at this moment, there is no need to change anything that you’re doing on a day-by-day basis,” Fauci said in response to a question about changing lifestyle habits. “Right now the risk is still low, but this could change.”

Nobody's perfect, but to say that Trump was ignoring his advisors just isn't a fair evaluation.

What you're thinking of is a dictator or some authoritarian leader in a country without respect for what we consider our natural born, constitutionally protected rights.

You should move to China... You'll like it in CHI! NA!

Golly gee, if only there was some middle ground between downplaying it and largely ignoring it and a dictator.

Truly our hands are tied.

Trump has respected our fundamental rights to a greater degree than most, if not all, of his recent predecessors. His administration has done a great job facilitating and coordinating the responses of our governors. And we’re better off for it.

Unfortunately for Trump, this is the first time in recorded history where a US president had to deal with a situation that he didn't personally initiate.

He failed. Probably, such a situation will never happen again.
