Welp, the wife just got the Pfizer. She's not dead from anaphylaxis yet. She told me that she can already hear voices from the 5g nanochip implant though. She has to come back in 3 weeks for the second dose.

The vaccine doesn’t have a fucking microchip in it. It does have U2’s new album in it though.

Tell her to stand between the microwave and a window facing north. Then run the microwave for about 20 seconds with nothing in it. It will either re-calibrate the chip or fry it. Either way problem fixed.

I figure the second dose will fix that.

Here's a good article about the mutation issues. To answer the earlier question about where they came up with the 70% figure, it's based on modeling the growth they have observed. So yeah, while kind of interesting, take it with a grain of salt.

Is this gonna work on the "new strain" that has made the Prime Minister Boris Johnson lockdown UK again?

It would be very surprising if it didn't.

It should, yes.

It is “very unlikely” that the vaccines currently available will not be effective on the reported new variant of Covid-19 in the United Kingdom, Operation Warp Speed head Moncef Slaoui told CNN on Sunday.

“Up to now, I don’t think there has been a single variant that would be resistant to the vaccine,” Slaoui said. “We can’t exclude it, but it’s not there now.”
Slaoui said that Covid-19 may be prone to variance, as the RNA process the virus uses is more prone to mistakes. He added that critical aspects of the virus, like the spike protein involved in a vaccine, are very specific to Covid-19 and unlikely to mutate much.

“Because the vaccines are using antibodies against many different parts of the spike protein, the chances that all of them change, I think, are low,” said Slaoui.

On oxygen full time, but not a vent. Every time they try to take him off, his levels drop.

He seems to be stable, though, and they gave him plasma with antibodies yesterday. That can take a couple of days to make a difference, so hoping he'll turn the corner shortly.

Several countries are concerned about this new strain from the UK that they are banning travel to and from the UK. We haven’t yet though.
