Before I started following him on Twitter I didn't realize what a pathetic Bronco kiss-ass Adam Schefter is.
George Paton spent 14 years with the Vikings and had other chances to take other GM jobs. But Denver stood out.
During his talks with the Broncos, Paton met with, amongst others, Denver VP Brittany Bowlen, and they spent time discussing her father’s great legacy. https://t.co/lQT7Mt3D4h

Schefter worked for the Rocky Mountain News from 1990-96 and for the Denver Post from 96-2004 when he joined the NFL Network.
He covered the Broncos for 14 years.
I knew he had covered them and had connections there. But his Twitter feed makes him sound like he actually works directly for the Broncos organization today. It was even worse when John Elway fired himself as GM and Schefter kept tweeting out all of Elway's successes in the role. [Reply]

He covered them during the Elway/Shanahan glory years. Don't know about Elway but he had a personal relationship with Shanahan that continued when Shanahan went to Washington. [Reply]

The biggest issue with the Vikings was not being able to adequately address the QB position. Basically, the same issue Denver has been struggling with. [Reply]

Yup. Good luck to that guy. Even though they have some nice talent, they have to compete against Mahomes and now Herbert.
