We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

Whatever, there are some that are just hell bent on making excuses as to why the new is always worse than it is.

New Zealand is a good one to read about. They have an advantage in terms of population density, but even so they've done about as good as anyone at truly stamping this thing out.

Well that's just it though. Places like SK, Iceland, etc. who have populations and land mass smaller that a couple of our states put together at best are a lot easier to control, I agree.

I just don't think the virus is ever going to go away. What virus has?

I was just pointing out that numbers alone don't always tell a true story of what is happening when it comes to this. We have gone through this with the people testing positive, antibody testing etc.. there maybe be more than 1 reason why hospitalizations are down or up.

I would suggest there were numerous deaths occurring from it prior to March. We know of a few as it is from them testing old samples. It just wasn’t as known due to a lack of testing and awareness. Just like with new cases, once we started testing for them more the numbers predictably quickly rose as well. Sure the numbers weren’t as great early on but they could easily have been growing until the boiling point of March as the more vulnerable populations became increasingly infected.

SARS v1.0. There hasn't been a case since 2004.

If it was 1001 and today it's 1000 that's a decline.

But it's pretty disingenuous to state it that way by looking at those 2 numbers isn't it?
