Nzoner's Game Room>Daly came from NE as a defensive run game specialist
BlackOp 09:54 PM 10-15-2019
Past four years in NE, joined KC in the same role...only 4 teams in 30 years have given up 180+ rushing yards in 4 straight games.

Why would he come here from a team that has been to 3 straight Superbowls...doing the same exact thing? He wasn't fired...

What ever he's doing...he's making history.

The one way to beat Mahomes...is keep him off the field.
The Chiefs offense got the ball with 4 seconds left in the 3rd qtr. They had the ball until 14:49 was left in the 4th, so 15 seconds. They ran 3 plays for 0 yards and promptly punted. The next time they got the ball was with 6:17 left in the game and had the ball for an outstanding 1 min and 14 seconds. You know what they did on that drive? Ran 3 plays for -3 yards and punted. So let's spread the blame equally between the D and O. It's not like the offense didn't touch the ball, they just did jack shit nothing. The way to beat Mahomes is hit him on every single fucking play, because the line is trash, and hurt him.

If the offense starts to play like it did last year, then this defense will look a lot better. Other teams will be forced to pass the ball, because the defense can actually make a stop unlike last year and the other team will not be able to run the ball if they want to keep up.

You mean like being up 17-3 and the officials deciding they arent having it?

Lol one of the players would pick up on a coach teaching him bad technique.

He’s not coordinating anything. He’s just teaching technique.

Think about how difficult it would be to subtly teach a d line bad technique but not bad enough to get called out for it being obviously bad but just bad enough to result in historically bad numbers vs the run

That’s how it was when CH hired Peeholy.
One of the best executives in years was finally hitting “free agency” and CH was there to scoop him up. It was pretty exciting times for us fans.
Little did we know.....

Fast forward to this offseason and Veach, CH, AR whoever assembled this superstar coaching staff. I was pretty excited for that fact alone at the beginning of the year, lol.

Some member said Daly is a Patriot Trojan Horse, lol. So, so true.
You see it all over the league with ex Patriot coaches, executives, lol.
Vrabel was doing ok at first but now he’s in the midst of a qb change (isn’t MM on his last year)

Idk, who can blame TB on continuing to play. At least 2 teams in his conference are fighting over top 5 draft picks at this point, lol.
Who knows if Buffalo keeps it up? They have the weather coming up as their advantage but NE plays in it too, lol.
And they have what we yearn, a defense. Some say BBs best so far. He’s a fucking genius I tell ya. This all coincides with TB slowing down. He finally has a defense to play field position with if need be. As they’re built now, imo they’re the perfect anti-Mahomies D...and O out there. NE showed what it took, TOP.

Jags played KC week 1, but had their 2nd worst rushing output of the year.
OAK had their 3rd best rushing output of the year.
BAL had their 3rd best rushing output of the year.
DET definitely had their best rushing output of the year.
IND only had their 2nd best rushing output of the year.
HOU had their best rushing output of the year, only slightly better than week 1 vs NOS.

The DL is bafflingly bad to me.

We invested a ton in upgrading the line between Daly, Clark, Okafor, Ogbah, and Saunders. Even drafted Nnadi last year.

I get Jones is hurt, but this group should absolutely be better than they are.

It's discipline, plain and simple. None of this has to do with Daly or even Spags...yet. It's a team culture that has - thus far - tolerated guys playing in an undisciplined manner. I'm all about the Ref-conspiracies...but this is a dumb conspiracy.

He is 2-3 vs the Chiefs and has not won a playoff game. He is the best to ever come off bellichicks tree and that's just a sad statement.

The last 3 games we have been "schematically" in the right place many times and whiff on a tackle. If you watch the linebacker play, they just aren't very good and has little to do scheme. However, Once our offense gets healthy, I would run blitz a lot more, specifically on first down to keep the chains longer than 2 and 4...

Great players hide bad coaching, Great coaches can't always hide bad players.

I go shopping in the commissary, other people come up to me and say the refs screwed the Chiefs against the Texans. They say the the Chiefs should of won. I call them people liars and tell them the Chiefs suck and couldn’t stop a two year old from crossing a road.
