We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

I’ve heard it from others. They are completely detached from reality.

Yeah, I live in NJ and it’s bad here. And people are getting busted by the cops for having gatherings (40 people and they were adults). And just Monday I’m the first one in shopping at 6am to get bananas and milk and this guy tries leaning over me to get a plastic bag while there’s like 15 plastic bag dispensers with nobody around. I wanted to kill that guy. And I hear the same stories from friends. You can’t fix stupid

And as I said, what did you expect? All these businesses get shut down, people get told to say home and we are only going to have a couple hundred thousand people apply for unemployment?

They did expect it, like I said. Then, when they hear the actual numbers, they realize that the expectation has become reality.

That's it.

Which is why this social distancing and Stay in Place orders are going to be here for longer than we want. Americans are too self centered and stupid to do the proper things to limit the spread unless forced to.

I think it depends on where you live. Me personally? I’m fucked. My state is still rising and the fucking idiots going out and not getting it are the problem. I don’t want to leave my house anymore.

Now homemade masks may not be effective, unless you want to suffocate yourself apparently.

There were no studies on how well homemade masks fit, the letter said. An ill-fitting mask may leak. And if a person sweats, the moisture could trap the virus and become a potential contamination source.

Another experiment looking at masks made from sweatshirts, t-shirts, towels, scarves and cloth masks found that they reduced some low-level protection against nanoparticles from someone breathing, but not from aerosolized infection.

Well that was rude. Please accept my apology. All this fucking social distancing is making me a little cranky.

So you say all these businesses are closed and everyone is staying home because they want to?
