Evan Silva dropped his first mock and has KC drafting Troy Franklin @ 32

There are going to be some great guys available at pick #32 due to how deep it is, and then I think there's gonna be a run on other positions in round 2, and then we'll still have some great options if we want to move up to the middle of round 2 or even if we stay put.
I think it'd be a stretch in any normal year, but I definitely don't see it when they're chasing this 3peat. R2 guy is 5th in targets year one. If he beats out Justin Watson or whoever. Surely there's an equally good player who can give us more snaps all year chasing that 3p.

I'd be more than happy with that considering what's available.

Hard pass

The #Cardinals are seeking three first round picks to move down from #4, per @ArmandoSalguero

If they can’t get that, my guess is they stay at 4 and draft Marvin Harrison Jr.

Nothing likely will transpire until they’re on the clock and needy team looking for a quarterback.

That's exactly what I'd ask for if I were them too...

You'd have to think the Chargers are also open to trading back, which sort of plays them against each other a bit.

2024/2025 1st rounders plus an autograph Mahomes jersey. That should get it done

Everyone wants to trade back. Kinda tells you how they feel about some of these guys supposedly at the top of the draft, no?

Trade them our next three first rounders, and maybe another pick. Then move down a few spots from 4. Likely to be high next season in the first with whoever we move down with.

Two high first rounders, one this year and one next year plus whatever else we get back, more than makes up the cost.

Saying "sure, we'll trade back, but we want 3 1st round picks" doesn't sound desperate. That's a far cry from "everybody wants to trade back".

The Cardinals are staying at 4 and taking MHJ, hence why their asking price is insane. Same as the Pats, who will take a QB.

The only team that I think actually wants to trade back is the Chargers, and that's because they want an OT as opposed to one of the top WRs.

I think it tells you more about the depth of the draft at certain positions. If you like Harrison, there’s also Rome and nabers. Why not trade back and get another pick or two and still get a highly touted wr? Especially if you know your team has several holes in the lineup.

They just need to work hard this offseason, go into camp ready to grind and then take it step by step into the warm up games and onwards to the warm up games.

Adam Thielan's first two years were bad.

Julian Edelman's first four years were bad

Jordan Nelson's first three years were bad

Wes Welker first three years were bad

So anything is possible. He just needs to work on finding those spaces and sitting in the zones. This is what made Juju and Rice work so well with Pat.
The only one of those guys who wasn't a 6th, 7th or UDFA is Nelson and Nelson was drafted when GB had 2 starting WR's already at the time.

Some of the biggest NFL stars are often diamonds in the rough, during the #NFLDraft

NONE of the 5 highest paid WRs by average annual value, were 1st round picks.

1. Tyreek Hill - $30M/year
2. Davante Adams - $28M/year
3. Cooper Kupp - $26.7M/year
4. AJ Brown - $25M/year

Feels like Jalen McMillan and Javon Baker are high on Veach’s list for WR at 64, assuming we don’t draft one in rd 1
