It will take superior talent, and an elite QB to overcome his flaws as a coach, so the new GM better be nearly as good in evaluating talent, and Mahomes will have to be that elite QB.
We aren't winning a SB this upcoming season, so I wouldn't give rat's ass about the transition to a new coach at this time.
My opinion is that Dorsey would have given us a better shot for a championship long term than Reid does. [Reply]

That decision has never been his and is way outside his wheelhouse.
Reid isn't getting into the HoF unless he wins a championship.
And I never suggested that Dorsey would be the man to hire the coach.
