Nzoner's Game Room>The surprising thing I learned today about Al Bundy
Rain Man 06:27 PM 01-18-2021
According to Ed, he lasted two weeks at the Steelers' training camp and was ousted in the second round of cuts. Chuck Noll offered to make a call to get him into the Eagles' camp, but he declined and ended his football career.

In college, he got flagged for a hit out of bounds on Roger Staubach, and nearly got into a fight with Jim Lynch's brother who was Staubach's teammate.

The funny thing is that Ed mentioned in a couple of interviews that he was cut the year before Terry Bradshaw arrived, which matches the timeline where he said that it was Chuck Noll's first year (1969). Then in a different interview Terry swears that he remembered Ed well from his rookie training camp. They never overlapped.

The real surprise for me is that Terry Bradshaw still gets away with passing himself off as having been a top tier quarterback.

I'm shocked that more people didn't choose the option "made me think of Kelly Bundy," just shocked.

I miss Rich Eisen sooo much, he talks more football than any of them and always does it more intelligently

My local sports radio station replaced him with Cowherd :-)

The dude is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. It's the hardest rank to achieve in modern martial arts outside of one type of Judo.

If Jay wasn't a lot older, I'd think those guys were twins.
