My greatest fear is him becoming a wasted talent like Eric Lindros or something because of something like this. If he shows any symptoms at all still during his evaluations, we can't play the guy. [Reply]
Given that we clung on for the win it’s definitely a blessing that he didn’t go back out there taking more impacts with potential concussion on top of the foot injury.
Missing some practice won’t be a big deal as he won’t forget how to throw the ball just by not doing a few reps in training.
The big issue is that this is a purely independent medical decision so they have to be satisfied he is good to go. Other injuries led by player, coach and medical staff they could just patch up and play through the pain barrier. [Reply]

Agreed. And I would hope we'll start drafting OL and playcalling to protect him as time goes on. [Reply]

I think it was kind of a whiplash effect causing the concussion. You can see the defender grabbing his neck and his body twisting the opposite way as that is happening. [Reply]
Per Andy Reid, Mahomes got the wind knocked out of him and got hit in the back of the head. Reid said he is doing great right now and passed all the deals he needed to.
sounds promising
he did not use the word concussion at all! [Reply]
