My point is that only being invested in a season when you think a team has the roster to win a SB is a slippery slope. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to believe your team can win, but only emotionally investing when they are capable of winning it all isn't really a great stance IMO.

There are certainly points where you just can't be all in and we have all suffered through plenty of those seasons. But giving up on a season before it starts is a questionable stance at best. I don't really disagree with your assessment of our SB odds, but I do disagree with waiting until a QB you like to start being invested.
