Nzoner's Game Room>AFC Playoff Picture tracker
Hammock Parties 11:00 AM 10-28-2019
Currently

1. Ravens 14-2
2. MOTHERFUCKING CHIEFS 12-4
3. Patriots 12-4
4. Texans 10-6
5. Bills 10-6
6. Titans 9-7

#Steelers playoff scenario is Steelers beat Ravens, Texans beat Titans. Both have to happen. Anything else, season is over.

Do you think there’s a chance the Patriots lose to Dallas? at Houston? to the Chiefs? Think the Ravens can lose to the 49ers or Rams?

There are no sure things but there’s still a chance that the Chiefs can still get the number one seed.
None of those individual outcomes are unrealistic, but it’s hard to see NE losing three straight.

There's a difference between being possible and realistic... I don't think the Texans will lose to the Titans in Nashville THIS season. And to be clear, in an earlier post to Joe Delaney, I was referring to your overall playoff scenario as not being realistic because you had the Chiefs as the ONLY team winning out, while others lost several games. That's not being very realistic at all IMO.

Sure, an unrealistic one.

THIS season the Texans are much better than the Titans. I don't see them losing there again this season. However, based on recent history, I stand corrected in my inclusion as it being "unrealistic."

That's what makes it unrealistic in my book. Possible, sure. But realistic?

OP Update

Currently

1. Patriots 10-1
2. Ravens 8-2
3. Texans 7-4
4. Chiefs 7-4
5. Bills 8-3
6. Steelers 6-5

We also have the Raiders, Colts and Titans at 6-5, in that order, for the final spot, should PIT drop off.

I think we just cheer for the pats to beat the Texans and hope the chiefs win out.

Balt has a tough schedule upcoming so just hope for the 2 seed

How is their schedule tough? Other than the 49ers, they should win all the other games easily

Jets and browns are playing well, bills are paper tigers I think but we’ll see.

Steelers defense playing well

The Ravens are good, but I think they are at best a 12-4 or 11-5 team.

There is no reason to believe the Chiefs can't be the 2nd seed.

Yeah Ravens have a reasonably tough schedule, they could lose to the Rams, 49ers, Bills. Jets are playing better, they already lost to the Browns this season, and the Steelers lost to them by only 3. They could definitely lose 2 of them, the Texans lose 1 of the 5 (probably to the Pats but also maybe Tennessee) and the Chiefs win out.

I think the 2 seed is pretty realistic if the Chiefs can win out.

And, frankly, that doesn’t seem very unrealistic itself. Won’t be easy to overcome the refs in Fixboro, but a recharged KC team can blow out this Patriot team.
