Yup. That's another thing that irritates me about movies and TV in general. Any car can make any other car spin out if you hit it right. Okay, maybe not a Smart car vs. a dually diesel, but still . . . you'd think these "highly skilled drivers" would know that. [Reply]

I'm pretty willing to go into a make-believe world.
We have talking alien robots,magic,superheroes and all sorts of fake stuff that i have no problem with watching. It's the common sense 'fake' stuff that bothers me.

She might be an analyst but she is still a trained FBI agent. She wouldn't just blow a surveillance by running after the bad guy into a building. An FBI agent would have done a better job of keeping him captive. He wouldn't just leave her alone in the house with a killer. He could have hurt/killed/interrogated her before leaving. His broken thumb didn't seem to bother him at all.
It's not a huge deal, but it's pretty lazy writing that they didn't do a better job on the basics. :-)
I think the point they were trying to get across was more about her deteriorating mental state than about her training. Strong emotional reactions can make people do stupid things. [Reply]
