Pasta Little Brioni 03:00 PM 05-20-2013
As a spinoff to the successful NFL Network's version of this and from the drama thread, it has come to fruition that this thread must be created.

Each day Hootie will reveal a member starting with 101 and working his way in order to number 1. I will update the OP as I see the names revealed.

*Warning this thread may cause a severe case of butthurt*

Let it begin!!

I don't mean to bitch, because I get my money's worth...
But if someone's gonna roast Pete, it's gotta be better than that. There's just too much material there to work with. Refs, backyard lights, paranoia...
I mean, c'mon.

Man, there are a lot of good roast materials still available.

Feel free to roast someone yourself instead of whining about it. I don't heed advice from anyone that hasn't had the stones to step up.

Not "whining." Just some honest feedback. I don't think that giving feedback without doing my own is any more out of bounds than critiquing Matt Cassell without playing QB in the NFL.
I'm sorry if your feelings were hurt, but I think you'll live.

While we don't have the avenue to be an NFL QB, nothing is stopping you from doing this. Step up big boy...

68. Hootie.

Hootie fancies himself the greatest thing to evar happen to Chiefs Planet. I suppose if you consider getting an eternal STD that can never be treated or cured "great", then yes; he's the greatest. Hootie constantly regales this board with stories of drunken, fratty douchiness that lead me to believe there will be two possible outcomes in his immediate future:
1) Going to prison for rape and/or ending up a homeless alchoholic. Or,

2) Actually growing up, admitting he has a problem, and attending some 12 step meetings in an effort to salvage what is left of his miserable, roofie-dispensing life.

As a result of their mutual distaste for yours truly, Hootie has fallen in to the good graces of his new buddy Dane "Douche of the Year" McCloud. So Hootie has, in a very warped way, increased his social standing and buddy list on CP. Perhaps Dane and Hootie can meet together in Hollywood someday, where Dane can show Hootie around the "biz"(in Dane's case; how to properly fetch coffee for some Hollywood big-wig), and Hootie can teach Dane the fine art of narcotics administration to underage girls.
Dane might however want to equip the guest house with cheap, plastic lawn furniture for this epic, "two turds in a puchbowl" get-together.

Cons: Has sex with women/girls, and there's a good chance a bastard offspring might result, thereby dumbing down an already precarious social-balance in this Nation.

Pro's: Is constantly banned for his dumbassery, thereby giving CP a much-needed vacation from all things Hootie.

Outlook: will probably continue to be a raging CP-parasite until the local authorities catch on to his clubbing antics, and shove a few well-placed nightsticks up his ass.

If people don't like the way it's run, there are thousands of other boards they can post on.

tl;dr? If you don't love it, leave it.
We used to have votes on whether or not to ban someone who's primary offense was that he/she annoyed the hell out of a large group of posters. Memyselfi was the subject of several of those polls. She was way more unpopular than Hootie. She never lost a ban vote that I can remember. Back then, Phobia used to embrace the democratic nature of this community. Of course, now he's found god, developed a holier-than-thou self-image, and become a major hypocrite.

I know you want to keep your cool kid card with the inner circle, but I don't think you can justify Hootie's ban to yourself on the basis of legitimate rules (as opposed to the moderator protection rules and short leash special rules that Phobia has come up with lately). If Hootie broke a legit rule, it's a secret and secret rules and mysterious, seemingly arbitrary bannings are no way to run a message board either, IMO.

There's one thing stopping me. I don't care to do one.
I hope that you understand this doesn't preclude me from having an opinion of those who do. Much like sports, movies, books... Pretty much an endless list of things in the world, I (and you... and anyone!) can form an opinion without actually taking part in said "thing."

That moderator respect rule hasn't been enforced on anyone calling Phobia a douche, dildo, or whatever else they're saying. Let's not put Phil on the cross. He may not like Hootie, but he handles the abuse with some dignity. And he's not abusing his powers on everyone talking shit to him. Just sayin...
BTW, I agree that this isn't a democracy if AustinChief decides he wants to do something. But it really was more democratic in the past than it's become. The fact that you make announcements like this now show how much things have changed (for the worse).

What's the moderator respect rule for? You should earn your respect not dictate it. What purpose does it serve except that it can be a fig leaf for banning someone who gets on a moderator's nerves? It would still be a bad change for CP if we had moderators who stayed above the fray and behaved professionally at all times, but we have moderators like you and Phobia who are plenty willing to get down in the mud with people.

JFC. How many times has Hootie been banned? Several. How many times have I been banned in the 13 years this board has been in operation? NOT ONCE. With all of these "changing rules" and "bi-polar mods with inferiority complexes" and I have never been banned. Infact, there is a whole lot of members that have never been banned. Which in no way jives with your perception.

Simple fact: people who are repeatedly banned on this board are treated with such actions because of THEMSELVES, not anyone else.
