We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

I am not sure why that is surprising? Just like the unemployment numbers. You won't have to worry about the fat guy drooling on you at least.

Because it's a massive drop. I was expecting it to be in the 80% range.

Instead if the shelter in place mandates can be lifted for even 50% of the population as a first step to re-opening society/the economy... people not in the clearly identified high risk groups for deaths/complications... that is an improvement from the current 97% of the population under shelter in place.
Even places like Missouri are seeing more new cases than ever before. I share your sentiment of wanting to reopen society, but we aren't quite there yet unless we are willing to do far and wide testing to determine total carrier rate of entire population.

I appreciate that I am in your thoughts, but at least try to spell my name right when wishing violence on me.

I want to take advantage of the cheap tickets and fly the fam down to visit some friends in Florida. Problem is, I’m not honestly sure how far out I should be planning for? I mean, am I safe booking in September?

Does anyone have a link to the site that shows number of tests performed? MD is skyrocketing right now (600+ today already) and I’m curious if testing is becoming more available now that NYC is showing signs of decline.

https://covidtracking.com/data

We are testing the most people per day by far. Hence why our cases are so high when compared to other western countries. Germany was 2nd most.
