If the Bills win out, the ONLY thing we need is for you to beat the Pats. Now, this does have the unfortunate side effect of making us the #1 seed. And, yes, the Chiefs have a terrible playoff record in Buffalo(Bruce Smith sez hello).
But, that's a small price to pay, isn't it? After all, you might be able to win here...for the first time since the merger, you never know.
Can you finally get your secondary to just be...average? Can you cover a #1 bust WR, Sanu(the old Yoda, not the baby) and a bunch of street FAs? Can your slot CB realize that the ball is coming his way 80% of the time, cause he's covering Edelman? Can your OLB realize that the ball is coming his way the rest of the time, because he's covering White?

They have all the advantages except that their QB is young and sometimes stupid. But they have a more athletic defense that's nearly as well-coached, a better run game (not a huge edge, but it's better), and more weapons at receiver. They also have a huge, quick, if sometimes knot-headed QB that has a cannon for an arm and wheels.
And now, of course, they have the blueprint for beating the Patsies.
Double Edelman, put a CB or a Safety on Michel, and bracket either Dorsett or Harry, whichever goes deep down the numbers. And blitz the hell out of Brady. He's nearly the worst QB in the league this season against the blitz. And worse than Baker Mayfield the rest of the time.
The Bills defense will hold Brady to 10 or so points.
All the Bills offense has to do is score two TDs and a FG, or 1 TD and three FGs and they win Saturday's game.
So basically, all the Bills offense really has to do is score on at least four out of expected ten drives that they'll probably have in the game.
And they probably will end up getting at least a turnover or two (Brady for the INT x2 or x3), so really they only have to score on about 30% of their possessions.
If they can't do that, they really shouldn't be going into the playoffs anyway, great defense or not. [Reply]

You are SEVERELY overrating the Bills. They have feasted on shit offenses all year, but NE rarely turns the ball over and turns over shit QBs like Allen frequently [Reply]
