Yeah and shit is blowing up a lot of places it wasn't at first. I know it pisses off a lot of people in this thread that someone is on Twitter pointing that out right now....

Now, I've got shit to do so you can spend the rest of the day arguing semantics with Pete.

Yes, they are having a second wave, unlike us.

If your point is that we shouldn't have taken mitigation efforts, I think it safe to say that you're in the vast minority.

Japan and Taiwan were how a few of us on here figured out masks make a big difference before even the CDC was on board.

Good breakdown on the children’s camp study
This numbers are misleading.

Only 344 of the campers were actually tested from what I've read. The others refused.

So 260 out of 344 were positive.

On tweet 4 he said no way to tell who infected all the kids but if he actually read he'd see that all adults and people working the camp were required to wear masks. The kids weren't and were inside singing...

And I can't get behind this "they are asymptomatic" BS. They can still spread it to the people they go home to.

It also left out that everyone had to show a recent negative test to attend. All went through symptom testing to be admitted. They kept the kids separate to their own spaces in groups also and still had 78 percent of the kids actually tested came back positive.

Maybe that says something about mask wearing?

I’m not sure about pediatric asymptomatic spread. It hasn’t really been studied from what I’ve read

I kind of doubt it - but for reference, last Sunday yielded 1218 new cases.

I think we'll be doing good to limit it somewhere between 750-1000 new cases per day this week. I hope I'm wrong and it's lower.

I'm thinking it says that kids spread it just like anyone else.

Only 26 percent were truly asymptomatic from the articles anyway...

And like I said yesterday the kshb covid tracker compiles the data from the health dept's themselves.

Their numbers aren't THAT far off from the state numbers (which I don't pay any attention to anymore).

IMO they are lying.

Ok but then you say;
