Our only hope is Mondesi turns into a MVP candidate & break in half, Singer turns into an ace, Lopez becomes a legit MLB starter, and Bubba Starling lives up to the 1st round hype.

Ironically the stadium in Buffalo was the one that started the trend of new retro design ballparks in downtowns. It was built to attract an expansion franchise. But those went to Denver and Miami. [Reply]
Braves lost both catchers right before opening day.
Snitker just announced both Braves catchers Tyler Flowers and Travis d'Arnaud will not be available today. They both tested negative, but have shown symptoms and are currently back in Atlanta.

It’s surprising then that they skimped on the clubhouse & lighting since those are 2 of the things in a new stadium to mostly attract a team. Amenities can be added later. [Reply]
