USA Today ranks the Chiefs' QB situation as #25, partially due to the backup situation but also Mahomes being "boom or bust".

If you have a b/u that can go .500 over a 4 game stretch and keep you in the playoff hunt you've got one of the better b/u QB's in the NFL right now...

Henne isn’t great but if he has the full stable of weapons out there with him, he can probably win you some games. Has a solid deep ball.

Hopefully we never have to find out about him in real game action.

Scariest thing is zero qb experience in Reid's system except the starter. Who has 1 year.

So the offense will be dumbed down for any games Pat is out.

I don't know that he'll really bust, Reid is too good at getting guys in good spots.

But he could not really develop into a consistent guy. Hot and cold etc.

Eh, I don't know. Our offense has a ton of playmakers.
