I can see a situation similiar to Bledsoe/Brady, Romo/Prescott here. I saw 6/7 WSU games last season, trust me Minshew can play. I have no problems seeing him taking Foles job away, just think Matt Flynn/Russell Wilson.
He's accurate, and quick to get the ball out. He doesn't have a big arm, but it's good enough. I think his personality makes him the kind of guy a team wants to rally around.

He's got moxy.
Yep...moxy.
Heard the first....."what happens when Foles comes back if this kid keeps playing like he's been playing?"
Both Pac12 guys with Minshew a far better NCAA QB. [Reply]
When Foles returns, if they're in the hunt, Foles plays. His record late in the season, and in the playoffs speak for themselves. Minshew is a complete unknown. Go with what you know. [Reply]

I agree with that, they can always go back to Minshew if Foles wavers. And if Foles shines, cool! [Reply]
There's really not enough data on Foles. However, everyone's bought into the hype at this point, including pretty much all the NFL owners, so might as well see if Foles is really magic in the post-season.
If by the time he's healthy, the Jags aren't anywhere near the post-season, I'd probably let Minshew finish the season. Can't hurt, and might make him decent trade collateral. [Reply]
