My kid bought himself an xbox one x...it crapped out after 16 months, still turns on just has no picture so I'm assuming the video port control chip bit the shit...
He bought an S..so now I Have this brick system and trying to figure out if I should just toss it or fix it cause well, if I fix it, it's mine..
If you decide not to put any money into it you could simply try doing a reflow on the board. Not sure how the board is in one of those but you would have to remove it if the video card is attached.

Yea it's not that, I even plugged a usb to hdmi adapter into it and plugged it in that way, it won't display video no matter what you do, doesn't do a black screen the tv just acts like it's not there. [Reply]
