Finally had a chance to get into Minsky’s and try the Joe’s pizza and god damn it was good! For any locals that haven’t had a chance to try it, do it before it goes away.

Ingredients

Makes about 6oz

1/4 cup salt

2 Tablespoons paprika

1 Tablespoon garlic powder

1 Tablespoon garlic salt

1/2 Tablespoon cumin

1/2 Tablespoon pepper

1/2 Tablespoon dried basil

1/2 Tablespoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon celery salt

We're not talking about Fuzzy Dust...

It's real strong on the celery salt. Doesn't really taste like seasoned salt at all, at least not to me. It's like they put their dry rub on fries.

I'm a huge bbq guy. Cook in competitions. It's one of my passions.

I'm also a huge pizza guy.

That said, the intersection of the two has never done it for me.

I either want one or the other. Not both at once.

I'll smoke a pork butt and then have the wife make a 'Pig Pie'. Pulled pork, sausage, bacon, mozzarella and BBQ sauce. It's gooood! Throw on some jalapenos for good measure.
