IF true, it goes on all over the league. Read Time Green's book. Teams also put employees in the stands during games to film, and even practices if they can get away with the latter. Patriots have been filmed too.

Yet only the most cerebral, paranoid org in the league gets caught doing it? Riiiiight.

Stop it. Really. The Patriot organization prides itself on taking advantage of every loophole and fuzzy boundary the NFL has left open to them and to do that, they systematically nudge the acceptable line farther than anyone else. Then they have mastered the excuse game when they get caught well over the line that anyone else would cross. It is systematic cheating and it has worked exceptionally well for them. Until the league makes them regret it, it will continue.

Does that matter though? That logic doesn’t seem to stop any players from getting suspended for PEDs.

No other team has cheating scandals every few years. The Cheatriots are the only franchise pathetic enough to stoop to this level on a regular basis.

When other teams have a scandal, they get punished severely for it (see: Bountygate). The Cheatriots can cheat over and over again and only get a slap on the wrist for it because they're the league's favorite team.

Stealing other teams' signals the old-fashioned way—with binoculars and a notepad—never has been frowned upon. Some scouts and coaches have specialized in it, and sometimes players even get involved.

Rules on video taping signals were not clarified until 2006.

More here, Bears, Packets etc in NFL spy games--some teams switch jerseys in practice to throw off spies.

The craziest thing about this isn’t that it happened, it’s that that there are people that might actually buy the Patriots explanation for this and just keep moving.

The KRAFT/GOODELL alliance. These two are just a bit too chummy.

The menopausal neanderthal lumbered out of DC to scare the local Planeteers. Oh, the horrors.

We got fined a 3rd for literally doing what “everybody does”, so they can fuck off with that excuse.

Remember when ignorance wasn't an excuse for Sean Payton? Somehow it's always an excuse for Belicheat, though.
